We sent home some unfinished work today, that we just plain ran out of time in doing. Five or six students actually finished theirs in class, but the rest took his or her's home. It was work that connects to our place value goals.
Now, we have ongoing homework that involves our math facts in addition and subtraction- no multiplying yet! We want to attain automaticity in our facts. That means if I ask 19-7, they all can answer 12 in a second or two. Not in 10 or 20 seconds while they count it out in their head or on, yikes, our fingers! Just a reminder that we need those summer pics and forms turned in! Thanks! Mrs. Froehling
